Our Story

AJ's Fish House was founded in 2000. It ran successfully for 20 years until the pandemic forced them closed. A long time fan of Lake Fork Fishing and fellow restaurant owner, of Bill Smith's Cafe, in Mckinney,TX,  Bill Smith, decided it was long overdue and time to reopen this once successful restaurant. All of North and East Texas is a buzz with this new development. As Bill likes to say, "If it isn't broke don't fix it". So with that in mind you will see that AJ's will be run very similarly to what Locals, Travelers  and Fisherman are used to.
